Door de broden en taarten te onderzoeken die traditioneel worden geconsumeerd tijdens Nederlandse feestdagen en de daarbij horende vergeten en verborgen verhalen op te sporen\, toont Scholten ons de grilligheid van de dingen die we maar al te vaak als statisch beschouwen. \n\n\n					\n				\n					\n						Vanwege de aard van het werk wordt dit programmaonderdeel vooraf opgenomen en op 28 oktober gestreamd. \n\n\n					\n				\n					\n						\n\n					\n				\n					\n						Bert Scholten\nBert Scholten (1988\, NL) wordt vaak een eigentijdse troubadour genoemd. In zijn werk grijpt hij terug op een traditie waarin liederen een middel waren om verhalen te verspreiden. Scholten’s liedjes\, met titels als ‘De Paardenmishandelaar’\,‘De Gefrustreerde Metropolitaan’ of ‘Mina Koes’\, vinden hun oorsprong in oude volksverhalen of lokale nieuwsberichten\, vaak uit het van noorden van Nederland. Scholten onderzoekt deze verhalen en traceert de verschillende versies die ervan bestaan. In zijn performances laat hij deze teksten horen met instrumentale begeleiding. Net zoals volksverhalen in de loop van de tijd veranderen en nieuwe vormen aannemen en betekenissen\, past Scholten zijn liedjes vaak aan aan de nieuwe context waarin de voorstelling plaatsvindt. \nWebsite \n\n\n					\n				\n					\n						Mede mogelijk gemaakt met een financiële bijdrage van CBK Rotterdam.
