A.I. ‘Second Self’: Human and Machine \nSecond Self is een kunst- en wetenschapssamenwerking tussen Reeps100\, Dada Bots en het E.A.T. programma van Nokia Bell labs. De samenwerking is een live performance stuk ontworpen om machinaal leren en generatieve audio te integreren als een praktisch artistiek hulpmiddel en om het bewustzijn over machinaal leren te vergroten buiten de academische\, technologische en technische demografie door middel van het medium film en performance. \n\n\n					\n				\n					\n						Reeps100 groeide op met behulp van zijn relatie met AI om zijn vaardigheden als toernooischaker te ontwikkelen. Vandaag de dag stelt het machinaal leren ons in staat om “tegenstanders”\, “collaborateurs” en “mentoren” te ontwikkelen in bijna elke vorm van hyper-specialisme\, zolang er maar een geschikte dataset is voor de training. Schaakneurale netten\, met behulp van een grote dataset van wedstrijden door deskundige spelers\, worden getraind om de volgende zetten die een deskundige zou maken waarschijnlijk te voorspellen. Terwijl ons vocale neurale net\, met behulp van een grote dataset van stemmen opgenomen door Reeps100\, werd getraind om op probabilistische wijze de volgende milliseconde rauwe audio te voorspellen. \n\n\n					\n				\n					\n						\n\n					\n				\n					\n						Reeps100\nHarry Yeff (AKA Reeps100) is een door ARS PRIX Electronica genomineerde kunstenaar en muzikant\, gevestigd in Londen. Yeff’s expertise in vocaal muzikantenschap en creatieve richting heeft een online wereldwijde aanhang gegenereerd\, met meer dan 100 miljoen views en erkenning als een pionier van experimenteel vocalisme. In 2018 voltooide Yeff zijn derde kunstenaarsresidentie aan de Harvard University en maakt momenteel deel uit van het Experiments in Art and Technology programma van Bell Labs. Yeff produceert werk als antwoord op een lopend onderzoek naar de evolutie van de menselijke stem\, kunst en wetenschap.
