(IM)POSSIBLE BODIES offers an extensive context program in addition to the online and offline exhibitions. Talk to artists and attend live performances in the DEEP DIVE program, or let yourself be carried away by the FUTURE SHOCK music program.
DEEP DIVE consists of live performances, discussions with the artists of (IM)POSSIBLE BODIES and conversations with other creators (in collaboration with STRP festival, Huis73, Design Museum and Den Bosch Data Week, among others), which provide depth in an inspiring way. Learn more about the processes of creating digital works and how they’ll shape our future, the ethical considerations of integrating new technologies into our physical and digital bodies, and question ableist and anthropomorphic structures to invent new possible futures. During the 10 days we offer 12 programs that can mainly be experienced online (and especially free). With:
Neil Harbisson, Moon Ribas, Reeps One, Redo Ait Chitt, Pinar Demirdag, Simon Senn, Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, Doris Uhlich, Joop Oonk, Fredric Baas, Lucy McRae, nerd_funk, Jennifer Kanary, Noam Youngrak Son
FUTURE SHOCK – a music program that functions as a platform to show a multitude of possible futures in and through music – offers talks, discussions, workshops, live streamed shows and performances that will take place simultaneously in the digital and physical realms. From October 26 – 31 we offer 6 programs with and by artists who are pushing the boundaries of their instruments, are creating and exploring new sounds, working on new forms, using new technologies as tools for music production and who use experimentation as a vehicle for ideas about the future. With:
Moor Mother, Kali Malone, Gabber Modus Operandi, Colin Self, Dadabots, Bert Scholten, Red Brut, HYPERSTITION DUO, Asa Horvitz
